I have a 91' 240 that I'd really like to try this same design on... Mine is an automatic( not my choice!) I will be curious to hear how this has effected your highway mileage and general driving characteristics. Hard for me to mess around with Volvos TOO much because they're pretty good to begin with! But this is certainly and interesting idea. Please keep us apprised of your results! |

My complements to you on a job well done, I especially like the way you opened the end of the groove in the chamber cavity, very unique. In addition the placement of the groove near the plug is brilliant; this allows initial flame kernel development before groove flow impacts further burn growth. |
