I have a set of Edelbrock Performer RPM's on the bench that belong to a long time friend Bart Sr. He's looking to pick up the pace a bit with a 383CI SBC and grooves in his Edelbrock heads.
Bart's also willing to test a different twist with a radical three groove layout. Pictures will follow along with all of the details in the next few weeks.
This post will not be about how the grooves alone affect performance, but rather how diffrent engine modifications can be combined to provide plenty of torque and horsepower.

Well I promised a radical three groove layout. The SBC head offers many challenges, with the valves on a 23 degree angle they get in the way of just about everything I want to do. Well anyway here's a shot of the layout, I hope Somender agrees with the concept, I cut the grooves tonight. More pictures will follow.
