To let you know - John John (JJ) took Western Canadian Championship on 85 Yamaha with Somender's 5 groove set-up. Shaving head 10 thou out-performed 3 groove. Jet sizing way down - performance way up. 4 stroke Honda was hole shotting 90% of every race. Thank you very much for helping us out. Happy New Year & best wishes to you and yours. kp / whitecourt

Thank you so much for your help. I can not believe how much better my Harley runs with the simple grooves you recommended. I finally got it Dynoed and got an increas of 15% torque and 15% Horsepower. It seems to run even better than the numbers show. I take off in 2nd gear and if I rev to 3500, (which most guys do anyway) I can shift straight to 5th.
It will "pull" as low as 1250 rpm without ping, on regular gas. I have a white bike and I don't have to wash it every 15 hours of riding because of the exhaust. I definately runs cooler.
And the best part?? Grooving was easy!!
